Ashley doesn't talk much about her parents. However she does credit her grandfather for being the person that inspired her to start working out. His grandfather was an avid bodybuilder as he lived in his 20s-30s. Ashley had a habit of being physically active since an early age. She started swimming lessons at four years old, and continued for 10 more. She participated in numerous events, but wasn't as dedicated because she was not ready to go on a strict diet so her body would be able to give its maximum. Her beautiful appearance and curvy physique made her popular during her high school years. It isn't known whether Ashley was ever involved with someone in that period of period of time. Following her graduation, Ashley decided not to enroll in college and instead focus on her career of modeling fitness. Ashley discovered that she didn't like how her body appeared at the age of fifteen. Inspired by her grandfather, she began going to the gym, but she took his advice and started off slow. She didn't realize she was about to spend the next nine years building her physique and slowly becoming a fitness model. Invigorated by her win Ashley participated in the World Championships in 2014 WBFF Las Vegas World Championships and won seventh place she was enthused to accept what she thought was an undeserved defeat, and decided to work out even more. Following her fifth-place finish at the 2015 WBFF World Championships, Ashley was able to decide to quit competing. There were offers to do photography shoots during her time playing, but she wasn't looking to mix her careers however after she had stopped competing, she decided to become a fitness model. Her photo was published on the front cover of a renowned fitness magazine which instantly began her journey as a fitness model as she signed with a modelling agency. Since then she's an established model that has been a part of numerous bikini labels and world-renowned clothing brands.
